Hi
I am curious to know what methods of training are in place for your nursing faculty- is there any particular programming or outline used that anyone could share with me? I am looking for more formalized training for my self as well as the other faculty / Thank you

Nursing and Simulation Faculty
Hi Joy!
There are many formalized training programs available from the NLN, CMS, Drexel University, Boise State and others. However, cost and travel can be an issue. Here at MUSC CON we have recently created a Moodle Course that outlines the basics of simulation for our faculty, including clinical adjuncts, there is also a quiz that is supplied by the sim center. We then have a one to one check off with a Master Facilitator required initially and annually. Recently we have started piloting the DASH tools to evaluate debriefing. I am going. I am presenting something about using simulation to enhance the teaching of QI procedures!
Hi Everyone,
Who is going to the International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH 2020)? I am presenting with a panel of educators from across the country on Faculty Development. Let me know if you are going so we can connect. At any rate, I'll be sure to bring back info to the Alliance. Thank you, Melanie Cason
